Account: your email address and chosen display name, through Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive a relay address and never see the real one.
Profile, all optional: university, length of stay, country.
Content you submit: community posts and replies. These are public, on the app and on the K&U websites.
The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking software. It does not ask for your location. The K&U websites may use Firebase or Google Analytics, which is described in the policy on those sites.
To create and manage your account; operate community features; show you the right campus; answer messages you send us; moderate and enforce our Terms; and keep the Service secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers: Google Firebase for authentication and for storing the data above. Data may be processed on servers outside Korea, including in the United States.
Public areas: community posts and replies are visible to others by design.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Transfers: if K&U's operations pass to another student team, information may transfer under this or a comparable policy.
We do not share your information for third-party marketing.
Your account and profile are kept while your account exists.
Delete your account from Settings at any time. It removes your profile, every post you wrote with its replies and likes, every reply you left under somebody else's post, and the sign-in itself — on all five campuses.
Reports you file about another student's post are the exception. They are a record about somebody else, the moderators still need them, and they outlive your account — but once it is gone they no longer point back to you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw consent. Most of it you can do yourself in Settings. For anything else, write to TeamMillionM@gmail.com and we will answer as promptly as a volunteer project reasonably can.
The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child under 14 has provided data.
We take reasonable measures, including Firebase Authentication's security infrastructure, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than yours or Korea, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Please review this page periodically.

K&U is an independent, student-run platform created by students to help international students navigate campus life in Korea. It provides campus information, maps, cafeteria menus, notices, and community features.
K&U is not an official service of Kyungpook National University, Korea University, Sejong University, Yonsei University, Pusan National University, or any other university. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university. Official matters should always be verified through official university channels.
The Service is intended for university students and prospective students, generally aged 14 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that information you provide is accurate.
You may need an account for certain features. You can create one with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple.
Some features are public — community posts and replies may be visible to all visitors, on the app and on the K&U websites.
You agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse others; post hate speech or discriminatory content; impersonate anyone; post spam or advertising; post illegal or infringing content; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
We may review, remove, or restrict content and accounts at our discretion. You retain ownership of your content and grant K&U a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it solely to operate and promote the Service.
Menus, maps, and notices are aggregated from various sources and partly maintained by volunteers. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Verify time-sensitive or official information through official channels.

The Service links to or embeds third-party services, such as Naver Maps and official university sites. K&U is not responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
The Service's design, branding, code, and original content — excluding user content and third-party data — are owned by K&U's creators and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
University names and crests belong to those universities and are used with permission to identify which campus a page is about.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. K&U is a volunteer, student-run project and does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, K&U and its creators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the Service, including reliance on information provided through it.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without cause or notice.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, open Settings and choose Delete account. It removes your profile, your posts and your replies on every campus, and it cannot be undone.
We may update these Terms; material changes update the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
